ABOUT THIS ROLE

Are you a clinician who wants to do the deep clinical work — individual sessions, meaningful groups, and real case management — in a structured, well-run PHP program? Real Recovery Solutions is hiring a Primary Therapist for our Bradenton site to serve adults working through substance use and co-occurring disorders at the PHP level of care. You will carry a manageable caseload, build genuine therapeutic relationships, and operate within a team that communicates openly and holds one another accountable. This position reports to the Clinical Director and works alongside attending clinicians, medical staff, and support teams across a full continuum of care.

SCHEDULE

Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (first shift) Sundays and Mondays off — consistent, predictable schedule No on-call requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct biopsychosocial intakes and complete master treatment plans within required regulatory timeframes Provide individual therapy sessions focused on recovery, co-occurring disorders, and life adjustment Facilitate daily PHP groups including psychoeducation on the disease process and evidence-based treatment content Collaborate with medical staff, attending clinicians, and the interdisciplinary team for treatment planning and clinical assessments Manage ongoing case coordination — family contact, continuity of care communication, and referral documentation Complete clinical documentation accurately and on time in compliance with

standards, and HIPAA Maintain knowledge of community resources and facilitate appropriate referrals and linkages Attend daily staff meetings, required trainings, and participate in clinical supervision Protect client privacy and comply with all applicable federal, state, and program regulations

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong knowledge of substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and the disease model of addiction Individual and group therapy facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse client populations Experience with treatment planning, progress notes, and structured clinical documentation Familiarity with psychiatric disorders and emergency/crisis intervention procedures Ability to network and collaborate with healthcare, social service, and community agencies Strong ethical boundaries, professional judgment, and stress management skills Clear written and verbal communication with clients, families, and interdisciplinary staff Organized, consistent, and detail-oriented in meeting documentation deadlines

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related social services field (required) Active Florida intern registration (RMHCI, RCSWI, RMFTI) or full licensure (preferred) LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT preferred;

MCAP / CAP

accepted Minimum 1 year of mental health, substance use, or related clinical experience preferred Practicum and internship experience recognized and counted toward experience requirement Must be able to commute to Bradenton, FL 34207 People with lived recovery experience and individuals with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.
