We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join our addiction recovery center. As an LSW, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive support and care to individuals struggling with addiction. Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' needs, strengths, and barriers to recovery. Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, considering their unique circumstances and goals. Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to individuals and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices for addiction recovery. Facilitate support groups and educational sessions to promote relapse prevention, life skills development, and emotional well-being. Assist clients in accessing appropriate community resources, such as housing, employment, healthcare, and legal services. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and holistic treatment approaches. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Advocate for clients' rights and coordinate with external agencies and organizations to address their needs effectively. Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in addiction recovery and participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Valid license as a Social Worker (LSW) in the state where the addiction recovery center is located. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. Proven experience in addiction recovery, substance abuse treatment, or related fields. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for addiction recovery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships. Demonstrated understanding of cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines governing social work practice. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed client records.

Full-time Pay:

$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
