Private not-for-profit D&A outpatient treatment program is seeking a D&A Treatment Specialist. Position provides drug and alcohol counseling to clients in our Carbon County Outpatient office location in Lehighton. PA. Position is full-time 40 hours, schedule Monday 8-5, Tuesday 8-5, Wednesday 8-8pm, Thursday 8-8pm and Fridays off. Candidate MUST possess minimum of BS/BA in Psychology/Sociology/Human Services and have over two-years direct drug and alcohol counseling experience. Working knowledge of ASAM, communication/computer skills a must, CADC preferred. Starting wage is $21.51 with required degree, however with a master's degree in chemical Dependency/Psychology/Social Work/Counseling increases to $22.58. There is a pay increase following successful completion of six-month probationary period.
