Job Description
This full-time position involves developing and implementing individual and group interventions focused on reintegration planning and substance abuse treatment. The specialist conducts evaluations using evidence-based tools, creates case and treatment plans, and delivers evidence-based programming to support program completion. Compensation ranges from $29.94 to $34.34/hour, with potential add-on pay based on credentials. A sign-on bonus of $2,000 may be available for eligible candidates without recent state employment. Requirements include holding or applying for a Substance Abuse Counselor credential (SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC) from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services, with a commitment to obtain SAC-IT within 12 months if pending.
