We give every team member significant responsibility and freedom, backed by advice, guidance, and coaching whenever it's needed. Our VRCs serve clients throughout Washington who have sustained work-related injuries and/or occupational diseases. You'll work with leading case management and AI-powered tools that cut the busywork, backed by a QA program that supports you — not one that slows you down. Responsibilities Meet with injured workers, their employers, medical providers, and legal representatives to assess the worker's employability Assist workers with return-to-work planning and identify community resources for job-placement assistance Help workers secure retraining benefits when appropriate Monitor workers' participation and progress in retraining programs Requirements Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required CDMS or CRC credential with 3+ years of experience as a VRC working with L&I (required) Keyboarding skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word Ability to acquire an L&I provider number Ability to meet deadlines Excellent writing and communication skills Access to reliable transportation for work-related travel Preferred Qualifications Master's degree (MA/MS) Bilingual Experience handling Social Security, LTD, OWCP, and DBA claims Compensation Total annual compensation is $60,000-$90,000, depending on experience, education, credentials, and individual performance. Pay includes an hourly base rate for all hours worked plus a production bonus for professional billable hours. Actual earnings will vary based on total hours worked and individual productivity.
