The Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick's Club at Cooper is hiring Youth Program Leaders to work directly with youth in grades 6-9 in a dynamic, supportive, and mission-driven environment. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals pursuing careers in education, youth development, social work , or related fields and for anyone who wants to have a real impact on young lives. Schedule Monday to Friday Afterschool hours Approx. 4-hour shifts , 20-25 hours per week Key Responsibilities Work directly with youth in grades 6-9 to deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate programs Oversee the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of a wide range of recreational and enrichment activities Create a safe, structured, and fun environment for all participants Support social, emotional, academic, and creative growth Serve as a positive role model and mentor Communicate effectively with youth, staff, and families Required Skills & Experience At least 1 year of experience working with youth Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to lead groups and manage group dynamics Skilled in motivating youth and handling behavior challenges Ability to plan and implement high-quality youth programs Must be 18 years or older Preferred Qualifications Experience working with youth in Music, Arts and STEM related programming Experience working with middle school students Bilingual or multicultural experience a plus Other Requirements Must pass national fingerprint background check and drug screening Work Location In-person at a Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick site Why Join Us?
