We are hiring for:

Morning Shift:

6:30am -8:00 a.m.

Afternoon Shift:

3p.m.-6p.m. Monday-Friday

NO WEEKENDS!

Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising and engaging with children Helping lead games, activities, and enrichment opportunities Building positive relationships with children Encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop confidence Providing a safe and welcoming environment Being a positive role model and demonstrating the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility Who We're Looking For You don't need years of childcare experience to be a great fit. We're looking for someone who: Enjoys working with kids Is dependable and shows up when scheduled Has a positive attitude and communicates well Uses good judgment Is comfortable supervising and interacting with groups of children Is willing to participate in activities with the kids Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements This is an active childcare position. Employees must be able to participate in activities with children, including getting down on the floor, walking, running, jumping, and participating in outdoor activities in varying weather conditions. The position also requires the ability to tolerate the noise associated with groups of children and lift up to 50 pounds.
