You'll:

Supervise and actively engage with children Lead games, activities, and enrichment opportunities Build positive relationships with kids Encourage positive behavior and confidence Help maintain a safe and welcoming environment Serve as a positive role model Demonstrate the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility Who We're Looking For You don't need years of childcare experience to be a great fit! We're looking for someone who: Enjoys working with children Is dependable and shows up when scheduled Has a positive attitude Communicates well with children, families, and coworkers Uses good judgment Is comfortable supervising groups of children Is willing to jump in and participate in activities Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. This Is an Active Job! You'll be moving throughout your shift—getting down on the floor, walking, running, playing games, participating in outdoor activities, and keeping up with the kids. Employees must be able to tolerate the normal noise level associated with groups of children and lift up to 50 pounds.
