Location/Division Specific Information This position is a hybrid role going into a Thermo Fisher Scientific office within the Commercial Analytics & Foundations team of our Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD). Discover Impactful Work The Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics & Reporting leads CMD's Commercial Analytics function, translating commercial strategy into scalable analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the Director, Sales Analytics & Foundations, this role leads a global team responsible for commercial analytics and enablement, reporting governance, executive insights, and analytics modernization. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Data Governance, the Senior Manager develops scalable analytics capabilities that improve commercial performance and support long-term business growth. Life:
Lead and develop a high-performing global team delivering commercial analytics, reporting, and business insights. Define and execute the commercial analytics roadmap, aligning analytics capabilities with sales behavior, business priorities and growth objectives. Establish governance for commercial KPIs, reporting standards, and data quality to ensure trusted, consistent decision-making. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Data Governance to deliver scalable analytics solutions supporting enterprise initiatives. Deliver executive insights and recommendations that support commercial performance and strategic decision-making. Advance commercial analytics and enablement through Power BI, automation, self-service reporting, and emerging AI capabilities. Support enterprise initiatives including customer hierarchy, segmentation, territory management, and CRM/ERP alignment. Define and lead analytics enablement program to drive the right behaviors and outcomes in the field Promote adoption of analytics through enablement, continuous improvement, and measurement of business impact. Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in commercial analytics, sales operations, business intelligence, or commercial excellence. 3+ years leading analytics teams. Experience developing commercial analytics strategies, reporting governance, and scalable business intelligence solutions. Experience partnering with executive leaders to drive business decisions. Strong Power BI, data modeling, and visualization skills. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and implementing scalable analytics solutions in a global organization. Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $118,100.00
