Position Overview:

The Automation Analyst is an entry-level, developmental role designed for a recent graduate who will grow under the direction and mentorship of the IT & Business Systems Supervisor. The analyst will support business systems, Oracle Analytics reporting, process automation, data analysis, documentation, and user support across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Support functional configuration, testing, implementation, optimization, and production activities within the Oracle application environment.
• Develop, maintain, validate, and improve dashboards, analyses, and operational reports using Oracle Analytics.
• Partner with business users to understand reporting and process needs, gather requirements, and document functional specifications.
• Map current-state business processes, identify manual touchpoints, and recommend practical opportunities for automation and simplification.
• Assist with workflow, approval, reporting, data-movement, customer-communication, EDI, and AI-assisted automation initiatives.
• Help translate functional requirements into system designs, reports, workflows, integrations, and technical work requests.
• Test new reports, workflows, and system changes; document outcomes; coordinate user acceptance testing; and support-controlled deployment.
• Troubleshoot functional application and reporting issues, research root causes, and coordinate resolution with internal users and external technology partners.
• Create and maintain process documentation, technical notes, training materials, data definitions, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide responsive user support and training while developing broader knowledge of the company's systems, data, and operating processes.
• Protect company data by following access, change-management, cybersecurity, privacy, and documentation practices established by the IT department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Recent graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Academic, internship, project, or work experience involving ERP systems, databases, reporting, analytics, process improvement, or automation is preferred.
• Exposure to SQL, Oracle applications, Oracle Analytics, data modeling, workflow tools, EDI, or AI technologies is helpful but not required when the candidate demonstrates strong aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving ability.
• Ability to learn complex business processes, systems, and data relationships.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to listen, ask questions, and document requirements accurately.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, testing, controls, and follow-through.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills with the flexibility to manage changing assignments.
• Customer-service mindset and ability to work effectively with employees across functions and levels.
