We are seeking an ERP & Business Systems Analyst to provide hands-on support and continuously improve our business application environment. This role will be responsible for ERP support, SQL reporting, data analysis, business process improvement, and application support across Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Finance. Our company manufactures highly engineered capital equipment in an engineer-to-order (ETO) environment. The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of how manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, inventory, operations, and finance processes work together. Using this knowledge, the ERP & Business Systems Analyst will identify and resolve data issues, support and improve business applications, work closely with users across the organization, improve business processes, and contribute to technology initiatives. We recently completed a major ERP upgrade and are evaluating long-term ERP modernization strategies. This position will play a key role in supporting our current ERP environment while also participating in future ERP evaluation, selection, and implementation initiatives. The position will also provide support for engineering applications, software upgrades, data connectivity, and selected end-user hardware and technical issues. While the role has significant business systems responsibilities, the successful candidate must be comfortable working directly with users and providing practical, hands-on IT support when needed. ERP & Business Application Support Provide primary day-to-day support for the ERP system and related business applications. Troubleshoot and resolve application, transaction, process, and data-related issues. Assist users with system functionality, reporting, and process questions. Maintain and improve ERP functionality and business applications. Identify recurring issues and recommend solutions to improve system reliability and usability. Coordinate with software vendors, consultants, and other third-party providers as needed. SQL, Reporting & Data Analysis Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts. Write and maintain SQL queries to support business operations and management reporting. Investigate data discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis. Analyze business data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure reporting and data solutions accurately reflect business requirements. Business Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and system optimization. Evaluate requested system changes and assess their potential impact on business processes, workflows, and data. Coordinate user acceptance testing and validate that system changes meet operational requirements. Analyze workflows across Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Finance. Document and maintain business processes, workflows, and application procedures. Work with functional users to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and system utilization. Systems Integration & Strategic Projects Support integrations between the ERP system and other business applications. Participate in ERP upgrades, enhancements, and modernization initiatives. Assist with requirements gathering, testing, training, documentation, and implementation activities. Support application integrations, data connectivity, and related troubleshooting. Contribute to future ERP evaluation, selection, implementation, and migration efforts. Assist with technology projects that improve business processes and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience supporting ERP systems or other business-critical applications. Experience supporting business systems in a manufacturing environment. Strong SQL query and reporting skills. Experience troubleshooting application, transaction, and data-related issues. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users. Ability to understand business processes and translate business needs into practical technology solutions. Comfortable working directly with end users and providing hands-on support when needed.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
