Power BI Developer /
BI Modeler Location:
Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid)
Duration:
6+ months Proven experience building and optimizing Power BI data models in an enterprise environment with ability to design dimensional models using star-schema principles, conformed dimensions, and appropriate data granularity. Strong understanding of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling principles. Strong SQL skills. Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse, with the ability to work across both platforms. Experience modernizing or migrating Synapse workloads to Microsoft Fabric. Working knowledge of Lakehouse & Warehouse Concepts, including experience building pipelines, notebooks, data integration patterns, Delta/Parquet file formats and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and reusable data solutions. Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and certification processes. Experience working in Agile environmentsand collaborating across cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience with Python and PySpark is a plus.
