In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade eCommerce solutions using SAP Hybris platform. You will play a key part in creating seamless online shopping experiences by integrating front-end and back-end systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Your expertise will drive the development of robust APIs, system integrations, and UI components that enhance our digital commerce capabilities. Duties Develop and customize SAP Hybris eCommerce platforms to meet business requirements, ensuring high performance and scalability. Design and implement APIs for seamless integration with third-party systems, including payment gateways, ERP systems, and CRM platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and system designs using UML and system architecture best practices. Build responsive UI components utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, and other front-end frameworks to deliver engaging user experiences. Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality code delivery aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards. Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub, TFS (Team Foundation Server), Jenkins, or similar for continuous integration and deployment processes. Maintain documentation of system design using UML diagrams and adhere to Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Optimize system performance through database design enhancements in relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server while ensuring data security. Participate in code reviews, version control management with Git or SVN, and contribute to improving development practices across the team. Support cloud infrastructure deployment on AWS or Azure environments for scalable eCommerce solutions utilizing microservices architecture. Experience Proven experience developing enterprise eCommerce solutions on SAP Hybris (Hybris Commerce Suite) platform with a strong understanding of its architecture and modules. Extensive hands-on experience with Java-based backend development including Java EE concepts such as WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), SOAP/RESTful APIs, and application design principles. Strong front-end development skills using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and UI/UX best practices. Familiarity with application servers such as IIS or Tomcat along with web services integration techniques. Experience working within Agile environments employing Scrum or Kanban methodologies for iterative development cycles.
