ServiceNow Developer/Architect
Job SummaryTrustedQA is seeking an experienced ServiceNow contractor to design, configure, and implement a secondary Payroll Help Desk solution within the existing ServiceNow instance. The solution must be built without using Domain Separation — instead leveraging a scoped application with appropriate data segregation controls (ACLs, roles, and business logic) to logically separate Payroll Help Desk data from other ServiceNow applications. The build will use the existing ServiceNow platform and available licensing.
The engagement spans the full project lifecycle — requirements gathering and process documentation, solution design, scoped application build-out (workflows, automation, security roles, forms, catalog items, dashboards, and reports), technical and configuration documentation, testing (test plans, scripts, UAT support, defect tracking), deployment and production migration, and knowledge transfer including administrator training and a full system walkthrough for the support team.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of ServiceNow development and admin experience
- Proven experience implementing ITSM and Help Desk solutions in ServiceNow
- Strong understanding of scoped application development
- Experience implementing and maintaining advanced data separation strategies, including
RBAC, ACL
design, least-privilege security models, and data governance best practices
- Experience designing custom workflows and data models
- Proficiency with JavaScript and ServiceNow scriptingPreferred Qualifications
