Company Overview Collaborative Agile Solutions (CAS) LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing Agile, digital transformation, process improvement, and strategic support in a Department of Defense (DoD) program office. Position Summary The Enterprise Agile Strategist III (Principal-SME) supports enterprise-level digital transformation and modernization efforts within a DoD program environment. This individual will work closely with Program Executive Office and senior leadership to shape and advance the organization's Digital Materiel Management (DMM) vision, improve programmatic operations, and identify innovative solutions that streamline acquisition, engineering, and program management processes. The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of DoD acquisition and requirements development with Agile expertise and technical fluency. This individual should be capable of advising leadership on both strategic and tactical matters, understanding how requirements progress throughout the acquisition lifecycle, and identifying how digital tools, automation, data, and emerging technologies can improve program execution and decision-making. Key Responsibilities Advise senior leadership in developing and implementing Digital Materiel Management strategies, roadmaps, and modernization initiatives. Analyze, design, and develop enterprise-level solutions that streamline organizational and programmatic processes. Apply knowledge of DoD acquisition frameworks and requirements development to advise on requirements, acquisition strategies, technical baselines, milestone activities, and program decision support. Identify opportunities to leverage existing digital tools and conceptualize new technical solutions to improve data integration, analysis, workflows, and decision-making. Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, to support project execution and organizational transformation. Gather and analyze requirements, model use cases, develop user stories, document business processes, and translate operational needs into actionable solutions. Align DMM and IT strategies with operational requirements and develop roadmaps for implementing innovative technical solutions. Analyze organizational trends, develop recommendations, and support change initiatives that improve operational performance and long-term transformation. Support milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefings, management reviews, metrics, roadmaps, and decision documentation. Develop and improve innovation strategies, processes, best practices, dashboards, workflows, automation, and other technology-enabled solutions. Support organizational learning and adoption through training, coaching, and implementation of new processes and tools. Required Qualifications & Education 20+ years of professional, relevant experience 10+ years leading enterprise-level transformation efforts Demonstrated experience advising executive leadership Experience developing organizational strategy and governance Proven record of delivering enterprise-level outcome Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) preferred 30 years of executive-level experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degrees Active DoD Secret Security clearance Preferred Experience Experience supporting an Air Force or DoD acquisition organization; Digital Materiel Management or digital transformation; requirements development across the acquisition lifecycle; enterprise digital tools, dashboards, workflow automation, or data integration; Life Cycle Management Plans (LCMP); and additional Agile, process improvement, change management, or technical certifications.
Preferred Certifications Agile:
SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC), Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC), Certified Team Coach (CTC)
Process Improvement:
Lean Six Sigma Black or Master Black Belt Program Management:
PMP, PgMP, PfMP Executive Leadership:
Prosci Advanced Change Practitioner, Executive Coaching Certifications, Organizational Development Certifications Technology & Architecture:
Microsoft Certified Solution Architect, Enterprise Architecture certs (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, FEAC), Azure or AWS cloud certs Work Location This is a full-time position with required on-site travel to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Monday - Friday (Dayton, OH). Benefits 401(k)

$160,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
