Ability in Fixturing Concepts and Designing using CAD system. ANA uses Catia Only I believe for this process. Programing knowledge working with Forged materials. Experience in working with Titanium, and other Exotic materials. Tooling knowledge. Knows what tools should be used to cut what materials. Multi axis programming abilities using 4th,5th,and 6 axes. Software knowledge in Catia or Mastercam (both would be a plus) and Vericut a MUST. Strong understanding of Aerospace GD&T. Willing to work with operators on shop floor to troubleshoot and improve machining process. Ability to utilize SolidWorks for fixture designing Worked with Boeing, Northrop, and or Lockheed on CNC Machining needs Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vericut CNC Programmer to join our dynamic aerospace and defense manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and validating CNC programs using Vericut simulation software to ensure precise and efficient machining processes. Your expertise will contribute to producing high-quality components that meet strict aerospace standards, supporting our commitment to excellence and innovation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technologies and collaborate with a talented team dedicated to precision engineering. Duties Develop and modify CNC programs for milling machines, lathes, and other machining centers using Vericut software to simulate and verify tool paths before production. Collaborate with design engineers utilizing CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and CATIA to interpret blueprints, schematics, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings for accurate program creation. Optimize machining processes by applying lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance overall efficiency. Set up and troubleshoot CNC machines, including CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and calibration are in place for high-precision manufacturing. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions against specifications. Maintain detailed documentation of CNC programs, tooling setups, inspection reports, and process improvements in compliance with aerospace quality standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing machining processes, implementing best practices in mechanical knowledge, geometry calculations, and schematics interpretation. Qualifications Proven experience in CNC programming within aerospace or defense manufacturing environments using Vericut simulation software. Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM tools including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, and CAM programming techniques. Extensive knowledge of Fanuc controls and familiarity with G-code programming standards. Solid understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T principles (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), schematics, and electrical discharge machining (EDM). Mechanical aptitude with experience operating or troubleshooting CNC milling machines and CNC lathes. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately while applying geometric calculations for complex parts. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other quality control tools. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a strong foundation in manufacturing processes, tooling selection, geometry analysis, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
