The job assumes overall programming responsibilities for all aspects of a sophisticated Microsoft Smart Client application utilizing C# and Microsoft SQL Server. Applicant should be able to analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow and logical processes, and interfaces with other systems and ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating, coding, beta testing, implementing and documenting all design processes. The position requires that you be able to report on the status of current projects, identify issues and assess their impact and proactively recommend solutions. General Requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in debugging, analysis tools, and experience with reverse engineering techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in programming, testing, and implementation practices. Proactive and self-motivated in working to fulfill the objectives of this role. Ability to translate general guidance into tactical plans, processes, and tools to achieve a strategic outcome. Ability to learn quickly and comprehend broad implications of business decisions. Knowledge of finance or accounting principles will be helpful, but not required. Skill Set Required Strong understanding of the Microsoft .NET languages (C#, or
C++, VBA
) and .NET WinForms. Solid MS SQL Server DBA skills including coding, testing and deploying stored procedures for application interface and maintenance tasks. SQL query development (T-SQL), testing and documenting. Work with analysts, senior developers and managers to design and develop reporting tools. Preferred Experience Proficiency with Excel and building reports using SSMS and SSRS. HTML and ASP.NET website coding, design and development. Microsoft .NET application development in C# Visual Studio (2019 preferred)
