Full Job Description Position:
Tier 1 Technician (Full Time, In-Person Office Position)
Shift:
9am-6pm, 1 hour unpaid lunch

Opportunity:
We are looking for an intelligent, computer-savvy, and personable individual to join our team at our Burbank, CA office. This position will primarily focus on hardware repair, product assembly and testing, while working closely with our service engineers and other departments to support day-to-day operations and product development. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting computer hardware and software and 2-3 years of customer service experience. They should be reliable, self-sufficient, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills, a can-do attitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency are essential. The ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment is also important.
Job Responsibilities:
Follow detailed hardware and software testing procedures for quality assurance
Perform manufacturing production of our products
Testing and repair of Intel/Linux based servers and related hardware
Assist with product testing, included but not limited to Audio, 3rd Party Products, Software etc.
Help create and maintain inventories
Assist with processing incoming parts orders from customers and satellite offices
Provide general assistance to the Tech and Logistics departments as needed
Occasionally support the installation and maintenance of equipment at customer sites
Assist with testing and preparation of products for events and tradeshows.
Assist with preparing shipments, some heavy lifting required Basic required skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to accurately communicate technical information. Excellent organization and time management skills. Fast learner with a keen aptitude for technology Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Some Linux a plus
Education/Experience:
Experience with repairing computer hardware is required. Experience with technical assembly and manufacturing Experience with Unix/Linux and basic shell scripting is a plus. Two or more years' experience in a customer service related occupation is a plus.
