Technical Support Specialist and Senior Technical Support Specialist We are partnering with a Confidential Global Designer and Manufacturer of Adhesives and other Engineered Materials that is hiring for both a Technical Support Specialist and Senior Technical Support Specialist. Company Highlights

Title:
Technical Support Specialist
  • Full Time Direct Hire
  • Customer-facing technical and applications support role
  • Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Quality, R D, and Manufacturing
  • Develop technical relationships with OEM, ODM, and manufacturing customers
  • Opportunity to support advanced material applications within the electronics industry Background Requirements
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. PhD degree preferred
  • Zero to 2+ years of experience in technical support, applications engineering, product engineering, quality engineering, field applications, or a similar customer-facing technical role preferred
  • Experience in electronics, electronic materials, adhesives, tapes, films, batteries, semiconductors, automotive electronics, or consumer electronics is highly desirable
  • Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, test data, and customer requirements
  • Experience working directly with engineering and technical personnel at OEM or manufacturing customers preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple customer issues and projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working with global technical teams across different regions and time zones
  • Ability to travel to customer locations as required Job Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and application support for adhesive tapes, films, conductive materials, and related products
  • Work directly with customer engineering, quality, manufacturing, and purchasing teams to understand application requirements and recommend appropriate product solutions
  • Troubleshoot issues involving product performance, application methods, material compatibility, adhesion, thermal performance, conductivity, environmental exposure, and manufacturing processes
  • Support customer product evaluations, testing, qualification, and implementation
  • Respond to customer technical questions regarding product specifications, performance characteristics, application requirements, and proper product usage
  • Partner with Sales during customer meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and new business opportunities
  • Coordinate customer technical issues with R D, Quality, Manufacturing, and technical teams
  • Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Gather customer feedback and application requirements to identify opportunities for product improvements and new product development
  • Prepare technical reports, product recommendations, application documentation, and customer presentations
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer technical issues, testing activities, recommendations, and resolutions
  • Build strong technical relationships with engineers and key contacts at OEM, ODM, and manufacturing customers What is Being Offered
