Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an IT Hardware Technician to assist with installing, repairing, configuring, testing, and refurbishing computer and printer equipment at multiple retail locations. This position involves field service calls, hardware installations, inventory tracking, and quality assurance.
The ideal candidate has hands-on hardware repair experience, strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Candidates must have reliable personal transportation and be comfortable traveling between multiple locations throughout Southern California. Responsibilities Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair computer and printer hardware. Assist with IT service calls and equipment installation projects. Stage and prepare hardware for deployment to retail locations. Refurbish, inspect, test, and perform quality assurance checks on returned equipment. Track IT assets and inventory using company software systems. Process applicable hardware warranty claims. Maintain accurate service records, production details, and inventory documentation. Travel between multiple store locations to complete assigned tasks. Provide professional customer service and work independently when required. Skills Previous experience repairing computer hardware, printers, or related IT equipment. Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation. High school diploma or GED required. Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude. Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs with assistance. Ability to travel between multiple locations, including longer-distance drives. Willingness to complete a background check, including a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check. #
