Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have general knowledge of office procedures and possess accurate typing ability.



Should be proficient in grammar and spelling.



Should have a business/computer educational background and be able to perform effectively with minimum direction.



Have good organizational skills and be adept at multi-tasking.



Previous general office experience preferred.



Bilingual preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

This person will be assigned to the Curriculum/Vocational/Technical Coordinators office and will beresponsible to competently perform the following: Effectively operate a PC/Mac with the ability to use Google in all its applications.



Type correspondence, memos, forms etc in acceptable format from handwritten or typed copy.



Proofread materials and make acceptable corrections.



File and retrieve hard copy documents and technology based materials and documents.



Complete DESE state reporting.



Work with sending middle schools to obtain EL dataProcess incoming and outgoing mail.



Process purchase orders and requisitions.



Log and keep track of in-house professional development hours.



Operate general office equipment (i.e. reproduction machines).Organize, monitor, and order supplies for all staff.



Demonstrate courteous and business-like telephone techniques and accurately record messages.



Provide clerical assistance to the Curriculum/Professional Development and Vocational/Technical Coordinators for areas and programs they overseePossess exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to ensure positive teacher & student experiencesAble to effectively work with other office support staff throughout the building.



Other duties as assigned by the administration.

SALARY AND WORKING CONDITIONS

12 month positionMonday

•Friday 7:30 a.m.

•3:00 p.m.
