Type:

full-time IT Systems Generalist Traverse City, MI - Onsite Contract-to-hire Up to $36/hr W2, depending on experience This role will provide support to end users and occasional remote support to additional locations. This includes their corporate locations. Responsibilities are maintaining the infrastructure, addressing security needs, IP telephony, and other technology-related duties.

Responsibilities Include:

Provide Tier I & Tier II support for PC Hardware, voice and intercom hardware and software, Microsoft Office 365, desktop operating systems and application software to end-users Support the IT infrastructure and hardware used in manufacturing operation systems. Installing, configuring and maintaining desktop and laptop PCs, tablets, wireless devices, hand-held RF devices and peripherals Work closely with Managed Services partners and management on network-related projects, upgrades, and installations. Work closely with manufacturing maintenance and safety teams as needed on production and safety-related hardware and software Troubleshoot and repair hardware and connectivity issues locally and remotely Refresh old equipment and work with contract providers to perform data migration to new machines Participate in maintaining hardware, software, and licensing inventory Work with Infrastructure team and vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensuring that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule Provide after- hours support as needed

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred 3-5 years in a corporate Help Desk, Systems Administrator or IT support position Microsoft O365 experience providing support to end users Experience with Kronos time keeping technology Experience with network switches and switch technology Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interface with all levels of management & user community Self-starter who demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently with little supervision Able to quickly learn a broad array of technologies and apply that knowledge to real-world problems; effective under aggressive timelines and frequent high-pressure situations Profound ability to juggle and schedule multiple tasks and demands on time Excellent root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills Team player Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications
