Desktop Support Technician Engagement Type:

Contract-to-hire (6-month contract, with intent to convert to full-time)

Location:

Edina, MN area (office-based, 4 days per week in-office) Responsibilities

• Provide desk-side and desktop support for end users
• Perform general break/fix support for hardware and software issues
• Image and deploy machines; support new employee onboarding
• Supplement and coordinate with the Level 1 service desk team on escalations and shared workload
• Assist with pilots for new infrastructure or end-user devices
• Help operationalize and deploy new devices and infrastructure rollouts
• Support cloud-based Microsoft 365/Azure environment tasks, including Outlook, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra identity provider.
• Escalate issues appropriately and navigate a larger corporate IT ecosystem when tools or access are limited

Technical Requirements Must Have:

• Solid working knowledge of the Windows operating system and general desktop end-user experience
• Foundational understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) services, including Outlook, OneDrive, Word, and Excel
• Basic familiarity supporting mobile devices/tablets
• Basic networking fundamentals (differences between wireless, physical/wired, and cellular networks) Nice to

Have:

• Windows 10/11 specific experience
• Basic familiarity with both iOS and Android mobile operating systems
• Exposure to ITSM/ticketing systems; ServiceNow experience specifically
• Basic familiarity with ITIL concepts
