Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Washington, DC; or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month opportunity.

This role involves contributing to the design, development, and deployment of high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed transactional applications. The ideal candidate will utilize Python Django and Angular to code solutions, create unit tests, and resolve technicalplexities within an Agile development process. This position requires working onsite 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to story refinement and defining requirements

Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria andpliance requirements

Utilize multiple architecturalponents (across data, application, business) in design and development

Assist team with resolving technicalplexities involved in realizing story work

Design, develop, and modify architectureponents, application interfaces, and solution enablers

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Requirements:

• ious experience designing, developing, and deploying high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed transactional applications
• Deep knowledge of Python Django Framework
• Deep knowledge of Angular, ES6/HTML5/CSS3
• Strong knowledge of MySQL databases
• Deep understanding of Git version control system
• Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks
• Experience working in an Agile development process and understanding of various phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience in data access technologies and patterns
• Relational database experience with proven abilities in SQL and data modeling, including SQL Objects, query optimization, and join conditions
• Experience withponent-based web application frameworks
• Conceptual understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and SOLID design principles
• Excellent written and verbalmunication skills with the ability tomunicate with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams

Desired skills:

Experience with .NET Core, Jenkins, MSBuild, Ansible, or XLR

Experience with automated testing

Recent Angular experience

Deep knowledge designing and implementing Event-Based integration services using Message Brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.

Knowledge of software development lifecycle; preferably with Agile, Kanban/Scrum

Experience with cyber security related workflows, solutions, or implementation

Pay range: $63.24 - $71.24 per hour
