• Jamestown Full Time/Part Time Job Description The computer technologies assistant provides technical support to students and staff in the various campus computer labs.

The assistant focuses on both diagnostic functions and cybersecurity efforts in both Linux and Windows OS. Duties/Functions Prepares computer systems for employees and students using Linux and Windows Performs hardware and software maintenance Assists with the college's cybersecurity efforts Difficult Challenges Must be able to multitask various projects and deadlines Contacts Ralph Argiento, Department Chair, Computer Technologies Other members of the IT team Education Required Must have completed one semester of coursework in computer science with a minimum gpa of 2.5 Education Preferred Enrolled in Information Technology, Cyber Operations or Cyber Crime Technology Experience Required General experience in computer support and customer services Experience Preferred General computer networking experience Knowledge of MS Office applications KSA Required Linux/Windows proficiency Knowledege of technical troubleshooting KSA Preferred Customer service
