We are looking for an entry-level Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join an onsite team for a contract assignment in the apparel manufacturing industry. This role offers a strong opportunity to build practical IT experience by supporting device rollouts, assisting end users, and learning established support processes in a hands-on environment. The selected candidate will contribute to daily desktop support activities, maintain accurate records, and deliver dependable service throughout the assignment.

Responsibilities:

Support onsite setup and distribution of computers, mobile devices, and related equipment for employees Provide first-level technical assistance by diagnosing common hardware, software, and access issues Prepare and configure workstations, peripherals, and standard applications according to documented procedures Follow written workflows and operational checklists to complete deployment and support tasks accurately Record completed work, user issues, and status updates within tracking tools or service desk systems Assist with device assignment coordination to help ensure equipment is delivered to the appropriate users Troubleshoot basic desktop and network connectivity problems and escalate more complex matters when needed Maintain a courteous, detail-focused approach while assisting users and responding to support requests Basic working knowledge of Windows and/or Mac computer environments Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and standard desktop productivity tools Ability to follow detailed written instructions, procedures, and setup checklists with consistency Clear communication skills and a service-oriented approach when supporting end users Dependable attendance and availability for the full length of the Contract assignment Exposure to desktop deployments, imaging, service desk ticket handling, or related technical support tasks Foundational troubleshooting skills covering hardware, software, and basic network issues Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do. ® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
