Job Description

IT Support Associate Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Associate to join our growing organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in technical support, computer hardware and software troubleshooting, and network management. As an IT Support Associate, you will be responsible for providing assistance to end-users (employees), maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless operation of computer systems across the organization. This is not a help desk position. This is a 'hands on' position that requires frequent communication and interaction with end-users (employees). IT Support Associate Job Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users (employees) for hardware, software, and network issues. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to computer hardware, operating systems, and mobile devices. Assist with support tasks including equipment setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers and mobile devices. Manages relationship with the organization's managed service provider (MSP). Maintains equipment inventory and deployment for all employees and locations. Ensures ongoing compliance with PCI and HIPAA standards. IT Support Associate Qualifications & Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Working knowledge of network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and wireless bridges. Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical solutions to non-technical users in a professional manner. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage equipment inventory, deployment checklists, and multiple concurrent projects. IT Support Associate Schedule, Pay & Benefits Salary commensurate with experience. This is a full time position with a mostly Monday - Friday work schedule, although some flexibility (evenings, weekends) may be required for special events or projects. On call after hours for emergencies. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401k with company match.
