Job Description

Be the Face of IT at Our Mentor Facility Are you a hands-on IT professional who enjoys solving problems, supporting users, and making technology work seamlessly? We're looking for an On-Site IT Support Specialist to serve as the primary IT resource for our Mentor, Ohio facility. In this role, you'll provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, manage local IT operations, support Microsoft 365 environments, and partner with regional and global IT teams to deliver exceptional service across the organization. What You'll DoProvide Outstanding End-User Support Serve as the primary on-site IT contact for employees. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and mobile device issues. Respond to service requests through ticketing systems, remote support tools, phone, and in-person interactions. Support office, operational, and production teams. Deliver exceptional customer service while clearly communicating technical solutions to users of all skill levels. Deliver Level 1 & Level 2 Technical Support Support Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and business applications. Resolve workstation, laptop, printer, scanner, and peripheral issues. Assist with user account management, password resets, MFA setup, and access requests. Configure and deploy IT equipment for new and existing employees. Troubleshoot more complex issues involving operating systems, user profiles, device performance, software conflicts, and connectivity. Perform Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID administration. Escalate and coordinate advanced issues with vendors and remote IT teams as needed. Manage Local IT Operations Own day-to-day IT support and technology operations for the Mentor site. Maintain inventory of computers, monitors, printers, accessories, and other IT assets. Create and maintain support documentation and user guides. Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements that enhance user experience and reduce downtime. Support business continuity through responsive and reliable technical support. Support Technology Projects & Improvements Participate in hardware refreshes, Microsoft 365 enhancements, cybersecurity initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, and standardization projects. Assist with endpoint management, patching, testing, deployment, and user adoption efforts. Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to ensure compliance with corporate technology and security standards. Provide feedback and operational insights to help improve IT services across the organization. What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications 3+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, field support, or a related role. Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, peripherals, and mobile devices. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, user administration, permissions, and MFA. Basic networking knowledge including
DNS, DHCP, IP
addressing, Wi-Fi, cabling, and connectivity troubleshooting. Experience using ticketing systems and documenting technical work. Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote IT teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting manufacturing, production, warehouse, or multi-site environments. Experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or similar endpoint management tools. Familiarity with remote support platforms and ITIL-based support practices. Experience supporting conference room technology, printers, mobile devices, and networking equipment. Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365, Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent experience. Availability for occasional after-hours support during maintenance windows, projects, or critical business events. Work Environment On-site position based in Mentor, Ohio . Regular interaction with office, warehouse, and production personnel. Ability to move throughout the facility and occasionally lift or relocate IT equipment such as desktops, monitors, printers, and peripherals. Occasional extended hours may be required for project work or critical support needs. Why Join Us?
