Full Job Description PC Support Technician Summary:

This position reports to the Manager of PC Support and is responsible for building, imaging and helping with second level technical support for installed company computer systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Build Windows desktop and laptop PCs using the Microsoft SCCM imaging process. (PXE. Standalone, etc.). Once the image has been completed the technician then completes the build process following a build sheet for the Department requesting the PC. Will have the opportunity to participate in troubleshooting problems with PCs and printers in the lab or via telephone. Assist in recovery and processing of PCs upon lease terminations. This position does require some moderate lifting up to 35 lbs.

Experience/Skills/Education:

Solid knowledge of PC operation in a Windows Microsoft Environment. Technical school experience or on the job experience very desirable. Knowledge of SCCM or some other automated imaging software. Intune and Jamf are a plus. Good communication Skills verbal and written. Able to work with little supervision and follow written instructions. Willing to take ownership of the work that he/she has done. Detailed oriented making sure that all steps in the provided documentation has been address while imaging or completing the build.
