Bone & Associates is seeking a dependable, service-oriented Information Technology Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technology support across our family of companies. This position will serve as the primary internal point of contact for routine IT needs and will work closely with our external IT provider, a Third Party technology vendor, on more complex technical issues, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and larger IT projects. The ideal candidate does not need to have extensive corporate IT experience. We are open to a recent college graduate or early-career professional with a strong technical foundation, relevant internship or hands-on experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a genuine desire to learn and grow. Because our organization includes multiple companies, locations, and industries, this position offers exposure to a wide variety of technology needs and an opportunity to develop broad practical IT experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
End-User Support Serve as the first point of contact for employees experiencing computer, software, printer, network, email, or other technology issues. Troubleshoot common hardware and software problems and resolve issues whenever possible. Assist employees with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 applications, Outlook, Teams, printers, scanners, and other commonly used business applications. Provide patient, professional assistance to employees with varying levels of technical knowledge. Escalate complex issues to a Third Party technology vendors when appropriate and assist with followup through resolution. Computer and Equipment Support Set up and configure computers, monitors, printers, mobile devices, and other technology equipment. Prepare equipment and system access for new employees. Assist with technologyrelated employee onboarding and offboarding. Coordinate the return, reassignment, replacement, and secure disposal of company technology equipment. Maintain an accurate inventory of computers, monitors, mobile devices, printers, and other IT assets. Assist with routine computer maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting. User Accounts and Access Assist with establishing and maintaining employee user accounts, email accounts, software access, and system permissions. Coordinate account changes when employees transfer positions or responsibilities. Assist with promptly disabling access and recovering company equipment when employees leave the organization. Maintain appropriate documentation regarding system access and assigned equipment. Follow established security procedures and coordinate questions or higherrisk access matters with management and a Third Party technology vendor. Network and Technology Support Perform basic troubleshooting of internet connectivity, WiFi, network connections, printers, phones, and other office technology. Assist a Third Party technology vendor with onsite troubleshooting when physical access to equipment is required. Help coordinate technology installations, upgrades, equipment replacements, and office moves. Serve as the internal liaison between employees, management, Third Party technology vendor , software providers, telecommunications providers, and other technology vendors. Cybersecurity and Data Protection Support company cybersecurity practices and policies. Assist employees with password resets, multifactor authentication, suspicious emails, phishing concerns, and other routine security matters. Promptly escalate suspected cybersecurity incidents to management and Third Party technology vendor . Help ensure company computers and devices remain appropriately updated and protected. Assist with employee cybersecurity awareness and basic technology best practices. Maintain appropriate confidentiality when working with company systems, employee information, financial information, and other sensitive data. Documentation and Organization Maintain documentation of company technology equipment, software, user accounts, vendors, licenses, warranties, and other IT resources. Document recurring technology issues and their resolutions. Maintain organized records of equipment assigned to employees and company locations. Assist management in identifying aging equipment and planning for future technology needs. Help develop simple instructions and procedures for common technology tasks. Other Responsibilities Travel periodically to company locations as needed to provide onsite technology support. Assist with technologyrelated projects and implementations. Research hardware, software, and technology solutions when requested. Perform other technologyrelated duties and special projects as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous internship, helpdesk, technical support, computer repair, or other handson IT experience is preferred but not required for a candidate who demonstrates strong technical ability and aptitude. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus but are not required.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
The successful candidate should have basic knowledge of: Microsoft Windows computers and laptops Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel Computer hardware and peripherals Printers, scanners, and multifunction devices Basic networking, WiFi, and internet troubleshooting User account and password management Mobile devices and applications Multifactor authentication Basic cybersecurity and phishing awareness Remote support and troubleshooting tools Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, SharePoint, network administration, business phone systems, or other business technology platforms is helpful but not required.

PHYSICAL AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work onsite at the Lebanon office and travel to other company locations as needed. Ability to install and move typical computer equipment, monitors, printers, and related technology. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for travel between company locations.
