JOB SUMMARY STMW
Manufacturing is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to manage our day-to-day IT needs while helping us maximize and enhance our MIE Trak Pro ERP system and other projects. This position will serve as the primary resource for IT support, systems troubleshooting, technology implementation, ERP optimization throughout the company and special projects. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working directly with employees across both office and manufacturing environments. A major focus of this position will be improving how we utilize MIE Trak Pro for production scheduling, reporting, data visibility, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities IT Support & Infrastructure  Manage and troubleshoot day-to-day IT issues across the organization.  Support computers, laptops, printers, scanners, production-floor displays, phones, and other technology.  Troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.  Set up computers, user accounts, email, software, and system access for new employees.  Manage employee access, permissions, passwords, and technology-related onboarding/offboarding.  Coordinate with outside IT vendors when additional technical support is required.  Maintain an organized inventory of computers, equipment, licenses, and other IT assets.  Assist with cybersecurity, backups, system updates, and general IT security practices.  Support technology needs as STMW continues to expand its operations and facilities. MIE Trak Pro ERP Administration & Development  Become an internal MIE Trak Pro subject matter expert.  Troubleshoot MIE issues and coordinate with MIE support when necessary.  Review current ERP processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.  Improve the accuracy and usability of production scheduling within MIE.  Develop and enhance operational and management reporting.  Assist with creating live production dashboards and production-floor displays.  Improve visibility into work orders, machine schedules, production status, capacity, shipments, and other key metrics.  Work with management to automate repetitive reporting and data-entry processes.  Help improve data integrity and ensure employees are utilizing MIE consistently.  Evaluate opportunities to integrate MIE with other systems, reporting tools, customer portals, and manufacturing technology.  Train employees and develop simple documentation/SOPs for new ERP processes and system improvements. Qualifications  Experience in Information Technology, Systems Administration, ERP Administration, or a similar role.  Experience supporting technology in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.  MIE Trak Pro experience is strongly preferred.  Experience with ERP systems, databases, reporting tools, or manufacturing software.  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.  Ability to understand manufacturing workflows and translate operational needs into technology solutions.  Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows environments, networking, hardware, and user administration.  Experience with SQL, Power BI, APIs, system integrations, automation, or dashboard development is a strong plus.  Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.  Strong communication skills and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
