Responsibilities Provide hands-on technical support for staff and vendors, troubleshooting issues involving PCs, networks, printers, peripherals, Wi-Fi, hardware, and software. Deploy new hardware and software, complete system upgrades, and maintain accurate IT equipment and network inventory. Order, ship, receive, configure, and replace computers and other technology equipment as needed. Support IT projects across departments by attending project meetings, coordinating with outside technology partners, tracking assigned tasks, and assisting with implementation, troubleshooting, training, and technology rollouts. Manage relationships with external IT vendors and partners, including tracking service tickets, monitoring progress, escalating issues, and ensuring timely resolution. Coordinate vendor review meetings and assist with reviewing service metrics, tickets, security posture, and recommended technology improvements. Communicate system outages, failures, upgrades, and other technology updates to internal staff. Prepare recurring IT, security, and system reports using various technology and security platforms. Support IT security and compliance activities, including vulnerability scans, penetration testing, security audits, remediation efforts, and disaster recovery planning. Administer user access across a variety of systems and applications, including onboarding and offboarding employees in coordination with Human Resources. Maintain branch technology and travel between local office locations to provide onsite support as needed. Assist with additional IT and technology-related projects and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, systems administration, or a similar generalist IT role. Broad hands-on experience supporting hardware and software, including PCs, printers, peripherals, operating systems, and basic network environments. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and determine when escalation to an outside vendor or partner is necessary. Experience supporting IT projects, managing tickets, or coordinating with external technology vendors preferred. Familiarity with systems administration, user access management, IT reporting, security tools, audits, or compliance-related activities is a plus. Experience with tools or platforms such as Cisco Meraki, Zendesk, password management systems, MDM platforms, cloud environments, or similar technologies is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff at all levels. Comfortable working independently and serving as a primary point of contact for a wide variety of IT needs. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, vendors, and support requests. Degree not required; relevant IT certifications or equivalent hands-on experience are welcome. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required for travel between local office locations. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as working under desks, connecting equipment, and moving computers or printers.
