Job Description
The Digital Media and Data Coordinator plays a pivotal role in developing and executing internal and external outreach and communications activities, as well as oversight of data collection for the Vermont Virtual Learning Cooperative (VTVLC). This position focuses on leveraging digital and printed media to enhance marketing and communication strategies aligned with the VTVLC brand and overall organizational goals. This position will collaborate with the Director and Operations Team to align operational goals with the overall mission and vision of VTVLC.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with colleagues to lead a dynamic, data-driven social media and digital marketing strategy for heightened awareness and engagement across all constituencies.
- Oversee data collection for VTVLC reports, sharing insights with the RVTC Board, AOE, and other stakeholders.
- Create and distribute targeted email campaigns for weekly teacher communications, monthly counselor newsletters, OBLC, NEOTI, and other stakeholders.
- Manage the distribution and follow-up on annual VTVLC partner agreements.
- Develop and deploy unique social media posts across multiple platforms, including sponsored posts and blog posts.
- Facilitate marketing committee meetings, preparing agendas, and converting discussions into actionable items.
- Develop and manage a marketing budget in concert with the VTVLC Director and Director of Operations, to ensure cost-effective solutions that align with VTVLC's financial objectives.
- Create a marketing plan and manage a shared drive for marketing materials.
- Analyze data monthly to inform outreach strategies and communicate with a variety of stakeholders about organizational performance
- Create and deploy digital advertisement copies and radio commissions
- Develop and order unique print media projects for marketing (e.g., postcards, banners, signs) and branded goods such as pens, t-shirts, and other objects.
- Maintain and update messaging, and shared templates, including slideshows, letterheads, virtual backgrounds, and logos for branding consistency.
- Collaborate with all VTVLC departments to highlight student and teacher activities and successes.
- Maintain VTVLC, OBLC, and NEOTI websites, creating new pages and updating outdated content, including:
Timely program updates as needed
Maintenance of the ChatBot
Adding new blog posts
Creating contact forms that can collate responses on a document shared with relevant stakeholders
Annual updates including copyright date in footer
Redirects to deprecated pages as needed - Ensure web hosting and security records are up-to-date, including DKIM records with Google Suite/BlueHost.
- Maintain and create payment gateways between VTVLC's website and Authorize.net
- Administer VTVLC's Zoom account, including global- and user-level settings changes, data storage management, and handling technical questions.
- Update SIS announcements with an attractive HTML design for teachers, counselors, students, and parents.
- Support Help Desk inquiries.
- Participate in VTVLC committees as approved by the Director and/or Operations Team.
- Travel may be required to attend meetings or conferences.
- Other duties as assigned.
