Onsite Position ## Your Responsibilities Product Engineer
Software Systems for John Deere Precision Turf located in Fuquay-Varina, NC, you will: Help contribute to the development of Precision Turf solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
Design and develop software applications, control systems, and test simulations
Integrate tech stack hardware and software into Golf and Commercial Mowing solutions. VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position ## What Skills You Need
Demonstrated technical problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working in a team environment.
Skilled in writing and reviewing software requirements to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with system objectives.
Proven experience in developing embedded applications using C/C++ and MATLAB Simulink.
Knowledge and experience in applying control theory to real-world applications.
Experience with continuous integration development and automated build tools
Experience with software version control such as Git
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple streams of work ## What Makes You Stand Out
Experience relating to the design/diagnostics of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems.
Experience with control systems design and analysis on turf applications
Experience with model-based software development tools
Knowledge of electronic circuits and components with the ability to read schematics and data sheets
Experience with embedded systems tools such as emulators, compilers, and simulators
Experience in automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet ## Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
