POSITION OVERVIEW

Operating within the Finance and Risk Architecture department and reporting directly to the Enterprise Architecture Leadership, this hands-on lead architect role solves critical architectural and data challenges for corporate financial accounting, capital markets, and regulatory compliance. The architect will take complex initiatives from concept through design, architecture, and working prototypes to modernize core financial reporting and risk management systems.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own end-to-end architecture for Finance and Risk initiatives, including sub-ledger modernization, corporate accounting, and regulatory reporting.
• Define current
• target
• interim
• and transition-state architectures with actionable roadmaps across data, applications, APIs, and cloud storage.
• Advance information architecture using authoritative sources, data products, data lineage, governance, reconciliation, auditability, and accounting-event models.
• Apply working knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks (Basel III/Endgame, CCAR, FR Y-9C, FFIEC, Axiom) and financial-accounting event processing.
• Leverage AI/ML, LLM/RAG, and agentic AI to enhance accounting, external reporting, automated reconciliation, controls, and data-quality use cases.
