Position Summary TechR2 is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented System Engineer I (SE1) to support operations and maintain strict security and compliance standards. You will test, track, and manage IT assets across their full lifecycle, execute standardized data sanitation and destruction procedures, and support on-site client projects. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a high-volume environment, communicates effectively, and consistently follows documented processes. Key Responsibilities Asset Handling & Warehouse Operations Inspect and label product; remove proprietary markings (asset tags) and Certificate of Authenticity (COA) as required. Safely load and unload trucks; move product through production areas and place items on the proper cart/staging area. Operate hand trucks/pallet jacks and palletize equipment for transport and storage. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment; follow all safety practices. Testing, Tracking & Documentation Test IT assets for specifications, functionality, and cosmetic integrity. Obtain required device data and accurately enter it into the TechR2 Inventory Management System/Inventory Manager . Prepare and maintain reports and documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and/or PowerPoint. Attend and actively participate in scheduled meetings; partner with team members and leadership to meet operational goals. Information Security & Data Destruction Wipe customer information from digital devices per established standards. Degauss magnetic media per standard as required. Destroy solid-state media per standard as required. Perform data destruction procedures on storage servers per standard as required. Maintain TechR2's physical and digital security standards and uphold strict confidentiality. Travel & Professional Expectations Travel and participate in on-site projects 70-80% of scheduled work time (may include additional travel periods depending on business needs). Perform work professionally and remain in uniform while traveling and while performing onsite services. Operate TechR2 fleet and rental vehicles responsibly. Complete training on new or updated processes as required; perform other duties as assigned. Work overtime as scheduled and when business needs require. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational standards. Role Requirement Pass System Engineer I exams for auditing, degaussing, solid state, and storage servers with a score of 85% or above . Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Basic computer proficiency; ability to type 25 WPM . Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions and guidelines accurately. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in a high-volume warehouse environment. Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, bend, and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift, lower, and carry up to 70 pounds . Valid driver's license and legal ID. Willingness and ability to travel and perform work on-site 70-80% of scheduled work time. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Successful completion of required background checks (SSN and Date of Birth required) and drug screens.
