Responsibilities:

Responsible for technical activity and completion of assigned task on time and budget\nDesign, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems\nMay use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments.\nReport of progress and status regularly\nReview customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable\nProvide budget, cost, and schedule input for design assignments\nSpecify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and services\nSupport the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements\nDevelop prototypes to retire key development risks\nCommunicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required\nParticipates in preparation of less-complex proposals\nMay provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnel\nSupport, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization

Secondary Responsibilities:

Attend appropriate engineering, customer or business meetings

Qualifications:

2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.\nBachelors' degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nCompetent technical expertise and application domain knowledge\nAbility to work independently

Lifting (up to 50 lbs.): up to 25% of time\n
