Retail POS Engineer
- 4690 Engineer with ACE POS Location
- : Issaquah, WA
- Onsite 100% Contract Looking for a Retail POS Engineer with strong experience in IBM/Toshiba 4690, ACE POS, and deployment/package build activities. The candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining ASM installation packages, managing ACE configurations, and supporting remote software deployments across store environments. Must-Have Skills
- IBM/Toshiba 4690 POS platform experience
- Hands-on ACE POS administration/configuration experience
- Experience building installation packages (ASM), patches, and deployment artifacts
- Knowledge of store controllers and retail deployment processes
- Familiarity with CHEC (Self-Checkout) and Elevate/Kiosk integrations in retail POS environments
- Experience with remote deployments, software releases, and configuration management
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Preferred Skills
- Scripting/Automation (PowerShell, Shell, Python)
- Release and deployment management experience
- Retail store systems and POS infrastructure support
- Experience supporting large-scale retail chains
