Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, common threats, security controls, and incident response concepts. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows environments, endpoint protection, and general enterprise IT operations. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate clearly, document work accurately, and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. Interest in learning security operations, compliance requirements, and best practices in a regulated defense or aerospace environment. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and good judgment. Basic Qualifications Associate's or bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, systems administration, network administration, IT support, or a related technical role. Basic understanding of security tools, user access administration, endpoint protection, log review, or vulnerability remediation concepts.
