Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE
Calidad Services runs its own 24/7 Security Operations Center in Stockton, and we're looking for a part-time SOC Operator to own the weekend graveyard shift. While most people are asleep, you're the one watching — monitoring live cameras and alarms across multiple client sites, verifying threats in real time, issuing remote deterrence, and making sure nothing gets missed on your watch. If you're a night owl who stays sharp under pressure and wants to build experience in tech-driven security operations, this seat is for you.
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
Part-time — Saturday and Sunday nights (graveyard shift) On-site at Calidad SOC, Stockton, CA Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Paid training provided — all systems covered
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Alarm Monitoring & Video Verification Monitor live alarms across multiple client sites in IMMIX Pull camera views and verify events within 30 seconds of alarm receipt Classify threat level per site post orders and SOPs Disposition each alarm correctly — cleared, logged, or escalated Remote Deterrence Issue loudspeaker deterrence when authorized by post orders Confirm subject response via camera after deterrence Escalate if behavior continues or meets high-threat criteria Incident Reporting Write clear, factual, client-ready incident reports — accurate on the first pass Attach camera IDs, timestamps, and supporting observations Submit through the required workflow before end of shift Guard Tour Oversight Monitor TrackTik for missed tours and compliance exceptions during your shift Flag discrepancies and escalate to the SOC Lead promptly Proactive Monitoring During low-activity windows, run structured camera sweeps across assigned sites Document anomalies — open gates, loitering, unusual vehicles, camera blind spots Escalate patterns or emerging risks to your shift lead Shift Handover Reconcile your alarm queue — nothing unresolved left without a documented note Produce a clear end-of-shift summary covering open incidents, watch items, and active risks
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Active BSIS Guard Card (required before first shift) Ability to work overnight hours — graveyard shift requires you to stay alert and focused throughout Comfortable working across multiple screens and software platforms simultaneously Strong written communication — your incident reports reach clients Calm under pressure — multiple alarms can fire at once at any hour Reliable and on time — a graveyard SOC seat cannot be left uncovered Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft 365, Teams, email)
NICE TO HAVE
Prior experience in security monitoring, dispatching, or a 911/crisis call center Familiarity with IMMIX, Hanwha Wave, Avigilon, Camect, or TrackTik Experience writing incident reports or activity logs Background in law enforcement, military, or emergency services
Pay:
