Up to $90,000 annually

Schedule:

Hybrid (4 days onsite / 1 day remote, occasionally 3 days onsite / 2 remote) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Azure Systems Administrator to support and maintain a hybrid cloud infrastructure environment. This role will be responsible for managing Microsoft Azure services, supporting Active Directory, strengthening security posture, and administering firewall configurations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Azure experience and the ability to automate and optimize cloud operations using scripting tools. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud-based services Manage and maintain Azure AD and on-prem Active Directory environments Configure and support firewalls and security controls across cloud and hybrid environments Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Azure CLI Monitor system performance, availability, and security compliance Assist with identity and access management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), and policy enforcement Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis Collaborate with IT teams to improve infrastructure reliability and scalability Required Qualifications 2-3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience Experience working in hybrid cloud environments Strong scripting experience in PowerShell and/or Azure CLI Experience with firewalls and cloud/network security Strong understanding of Active Directory (on-prem and Azure AD) Knowledge of cloud security best practices Preferred Qualifications Microsoft AZ-900 certification (Azure Fundamentals) AZ-104 certification (Azure Administrator Associate) strongly preferred Experience with security hardening, policy management, and compliance frameworks Ideal Candidate Profile Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Self-motivated and comfortable working in a hybrid environment Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits Collaborative team player with clear communication skills #phaxis
