About Us Windfall is a low-voltage contractor serving commercial, industrial, and residential clients across south-central Wisconsin. You'll run your own projects start to finish, reporting directly to the owner. You take a job from the first site walk through estimate, design, install, final terminations, closeout, and ongoing service support. If you want to own your work and see it through, this is the seat. What You'll Do Conduct site surveys and walkthroughs with clients and GCs Build estimates and material takeoffs, and scope labor accurately Design network, Wi-Fi, camera, access control, fire alarm, and AV systems Order materials and coordinate with distributors Install, terminate, test, and certify copper and fiber Install and program fire alarm panels, devices, and notification appliances Install and configure AV systems: displays, conference rooms, distributed audio, and paging Integrate adjacent systems such as intercom, nurse call, DAS, and building controls Configure network and security systems (UniFi, NVRs, access control platforms) Produce as-builts, test results, and closeout documentation Communicate directly with clients on schedule, changes, and progress Handle service calls and ongoing support for your accounts What We're Looking For 3+ years in low-voltage, network, security, fire alarm, or AV installation Proven ability to run a project independently, from estimate to closeout Strong structured cabling skills: Cat6/6A termination, testing, and labeling Networking knowledge: VLANs, PoE budgeting, switching, and wireless design Hands-on experience in at least one of: cameras, access control, fire alarm, or AV Professional communication with clients, GCs, inspectors, and other trades Valid driver's license and clean driving record Able to work at heights, on lifts, and in ceilings and crawlspaces You Don't Need to Know Every System Strong in networking but new to fire alarm?
