Data Engineer - Azure ( Fulltime / Permanent Position only)

Onsite preferred; Hybrid considered as a second option Job Summary We are looking for experienced Data Engineers with strong Azure expertise to support colocation (Colo) and cloud migration initiatives . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and migrating data solutions within Microsoft Azure environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions on Azure. Support Colo-to-Cloud and cloud migration projects , including data migration, validation, and optimization. Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure data services. Work with structured and unstructured data across on-premises and cloud environments. Perform data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation during migration activities. Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cloud, and business teams to ensure successful migration. Troubleshoot data pipeline and integration issues and provide performance improvements. Implement data quality, security, governance, and monitoring best practices. Document data architecture, migration processes, workflows, and technical solutions. Participate in testing, deployment, and post-migration support. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience as a Data Engineer . Experience with Microsoft Azure data and cloud services. Experience with data migration / cloud migration / Colo migration projects. Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases. Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines . Experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL , or similar. Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data warehousing concepts. Experience working with on-premises and cloud environments. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Azure Databricks and/or PySpark. Experience with Python. Experience with cloud migration tools and frameworks. Knowledge of Azure security, networking, monitoring, and governance. Experience working in large-scale enterprise migration programs
