12 Months Job Description We are looking for a Backend Data Engineer with strong experience in Java/Scala, Spark, and AWS data pipelines to build and support scalable data-processing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop data-processing applications using Java/Scala and Spark . Build and maintain AWS pipelines using S3, Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions . Work with EventBridge and event-driven architectures . Manage pipeline scheduling, reruns, backfills, and downstream job synchronization. Implement data validation and quality checks, including handling schema drift . Configure and optimize Glue/Spark jobs for scalability and performance.
