That local intelligence is what makes maps genuinely useful. A Day in the Life of an Online Data Analyst In this role, you will conduct structured quality audits on spatial and mapping datasets. Your role is to verify, evaluate, and validate complex geographic and business information using advanced mapping tools and detailed reference materials. Conduct structured quality audits on spatial datasets using mapping platforms, search directories, and GIS-standard evaluation toolsEvaluate and cross-reference complex business, geographic, and cultural data entries against multiple authoritative sourcesPerform root-cause analysis when spatial data points conflict across sources, documenting the discrepancy with precise reasoningApply detailed evaluation frameworks with consistency and rigor across dozens of geographic, business, and cultural data variationsBe open to work across a diverse set of Task Types (e.g. Maps, News, Audio tasks, Relevance)Provide structured feedback that helps refine mapping algorithms and improve geographic intelligence Why this matters: Accurately verified mapping data prevents real-world navigation errors.
