This position involves working with da management and reporting systems to extract meaningful informion, conducting stistical analysis, and preparing detailed reports and presentions. The Da Analyst will collabore closely with program staff, subject mter experts, and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and quality of da while identifying trends and making recommendions for program improvement. Collect, verify, and organize da from a variety of sources, including stistical studies, surveys, and dabases. Utilize da management systems to structure da for analysis and reporting. Perform stistical analysis by compiling, computing, and analyzing numerical da. Identify trends, relionships, and significant factors th impact program outcomes. Develop and apply mhemical computions to derive stistical models and predict possible outcomes. Conduct quality assurance checks on da entered by staff. Provide feedback to relevant entities and work to resolve da quality issues. Implement ongoing da integrity functions to improve the accuracy and functionality of the da. Identify current trends in the da and project future trends based on existing conditions. Collabore with program staff to provide recommendions for improving the quality of da collection and methodologies. Prepare detailed summaries of da analysis, including written reports, graphs, charts, and presentions. Draft memoranda, correspondence, action documents, and other merials to support program operions and senior management decision-making. Coordine with internal and external stakeholders to verify da, adjust collection methodologies, and perform qualitive and quantitive analysis. Attend conferences, meetings, and workshops to represent the organizion, gher informion, and contribute to organizional guidance development. Participe in the research and design phases of studies and surveys. Implement da collection methods and develop tools for capturing relevant informion. Analyze and evalue the effectiveness and impact of new, existing, and proposed programs. Perform gap analysis to identify unmet needs and provide recommendions for improvement. Prepare and present da findings to senior management, providing supporting documention for organizional presentions and proposals. Manages distribution and movement of sensitive informion th is proprietary, privileged, confidential, or otherwise legally exempt from disclosure. Safeguards informion in accordance with rules and regulions such as the Privacy Act, 5 USC 552(a); Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, Public Law 104-191; and DoD Directive 6025.18. Notifies the approprie supervisor and senders immediely when proprietary informion has been released and advises how to properly recover and/or protect informion. EVALUATIONS
Qualificions Three (3) years of experience in da collection, analysis, and reporting. This experience must demonstre proficiency with da management, reporting, and visualizion systems (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Point or similar tools) and the ability to conduct analysis and make da-driven recommendions. Relevant educion may be used as a substitute for experience. Experience in da collection, analysis, and reporting. Familiarity with automed da collection methods and reporting systems. Experience conducting program evaluions and making da-driven recommendions. Skill to analyze and evalue procedures and systems to improve operions; perform surveys to determine compliance with established policies and procedures and establish sound management practices and maintain effective relionships with, and gain confidence and cooperion of a variety of stakeholders to accept proposals on complex issues. This position requires a proactive individual who can analyze da to identify trends, provide insightful recommendions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of organizional programs and operions. Must have excellent skills to communice both orally and in writing. As an authorized and privileged user of Department of Defense Informion Systems, must possess the ability to obtain and maintain an IT Level II or higher designion clearance. This position has been designed as a position of trust. The incumbent must be eligible for an Access Nional Agency Check and Inquires (ANACI/ Tier 3) background investigion to sisfy IT Level II designion.
