Overview:
HCM Data Analyst Overview Sentara Health is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven HCM Data Analyst to support enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) reporting, data governance, and workforce analytics initiatives. This role will partner closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to analyze Workday data, develop meaningful reports and dashboards, and drive data quality and governance practices across the organization. The ideal candidate is a "data geek" who enjoys working with complex data sets, identifying trends, and transforming workforce data into actionable insights. This position will play a key role in establishing foundational data governance guardrails, supporting enterprise data lake initiatives, and promoting self-service analytics through scalable reporting solutions. Candidates with experience in Workday HCM, data transformation, enterprise data lakes, and modern analytics tools such as Databricks and Power BI are strongly preferred. Education Bachelor's Degree (Required) Certification/Licensure No specific certification or licensure requirements Experience Minimum three (3) years of experience in data analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization.( Required ) Experience with Workday HCM, including Core HCM, Workforce Data, and Time & Attendance data. Minimum three (3) years of experience writing SQL queries and working with SQL Server technologies, including reporting and integration services.(Required) Experience developing reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that support operational and business decision-making. Experience contributing to data governance, data quality, data stewardship, or master data management initiatives. Experience working with enterprise-scale data environments or enterprise data lakes preferred. Experience with data transformation and integration processes preferred. Experience with Databricks and Power BI preferred. Minimum one (1) year of project management experience preferred. We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$69,867.20-$116,438.40. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
