Summary We are seeking a Data & Business Systems Analyst to join Heritage NW Group. This position combines data analytics, business systems management, process improvement, automation, and compliance support. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming operational data and manual processes into efficient, reliable, and user-friendly systems that improve organizational visibility, reduce administrative workload, and support data-driven decision-making. This role will serve as a key resource for the development and ongoing management of Microsoft Power BI dashboards, automated workflows, digital tracking systems, reporting tools, and operational processes. The position will work closely with leadership and department teams to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, standardization, and improved data integrity.

This individual will be comfortable working between leadership, operations, and technology, building practical solutions that turn data into actionable information and manual processes into streamlined digital workflows. They should be curious, proactive, detail-oriented, and excited by opportunities to build systems from the ground up and continuously improve them as Heritage grows.
Responsibilities:
Power BI Development:
Build, maintain, and improve interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, and KPIs used by leadership and operational teams.
Automation & Process Improvement:
Identify inefficient or repetitive processes and develop automated solutions that reduce manual work, duplication, and errors.
Platform & Systems Development:
Design, build, and maintain internal databases, tracking systems, digital tools, workflows, and reporting platforms.
Data Management & Analysis:
Collect, validate, organize, and analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance insights.
Reporting & Business Intelligence:
Transform complex data into clear, actionable reports and visualizations that support strategic and operational decision-making.
Systems Integration:
Connect information across spreadsheets, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, ProviderOne, Power BI, and other organizational platforms to improve data flow and accessibility.
Continuous Improvement:
Work with leadership and department teams to evaluate existing processes and implement solutions that simplify and standardize operations.
Compliance & Auditing Support:
Assist with file auditing, compliance monitoring preparation, data tracking, and identifying recurring documentation or process issues.
Training & Support:
Train employees on Power BI, digital tools, reporting systems, and newly implemented processes; develop user-friendly SOPs and system guides.
Technical Troubleshooting:
Provide internal support for Microsoft 365, SharePoint, spreadsheets, dashboards, and other business systems, escalating issues to IT when appropriate What we're looking for: Experience developing and managing Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills Experience with process automation, workflow development, or business systems Strong understanding of data organization, reporting, and data integrity Ability to design systems that are scalable, intuitive, and easy for others to use Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills Ability to translate technical information into practical solutions for non-technical users Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects Self-directed and proactive, with a mindset focused on "How can we make this easier, faster, and better?" Preferred Qualifications Experience with Power Automate, SQL, Python, R, VBA, APIs, database design, SharePoint development, or other automation and analytics technologies is highly desirable. Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, social services, or other regulated environments is a plus.
