Summary:

• Execute proactive cyber threat hunting and defensive cyber operations across large-scale Big Data platforms.
• Apply advanced data science, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques to detect and mitigate sophisticated cyber threats.
• Design, develop, and deliver intuitive visualizations and operational dashboards for technical teams and leadership.

Qualifications & Compensation:

Degree:

Technical master's degree or equivalent experience

• Years of experience: 14+ years

Total Compensation:

$323k+ yearly

• Conduct regular threat hunting activities and convert findings, techniques, and procedures into automated operational capabilities.
• Perform operational research, statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and model evaluation utilizing Python and query languages including SQL and KQL.
• Ingest, evaluate, and synthesize diverse cyber defense data feeds and network traffic captures to uncover anomalous patterns.
• Develop, interpret, and deploy threat detection signatures across SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Create interactive dashboards and visual analytics to communicate threat findings and mission-critical metrics.
• Gather operational requirements and provide system training, use case development, and technical support to end users.
• Maintain situational awareness of emerging threat vectors, attack stages, and vulnerability disclosures.
