Job Description

About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work Under general supervision, responsible for maintaining the cancer database including case finding, case analysis, abstracting, follow-up, data submission, report writing and quality control. Qualifications Required completion of associate degree in cancer registry management (CRM) or cancer information management (CIM) from an NCRA-accredited program OR successful completion of an associate degree in a related field plus successful completion of a Certificate in CRM or CIM from an NCRA-accredited program plus two semesters of Human Anatomy and Physiology. 1 year of relevant experience in data entry Required Experience in the cancer registry field Preferred Tumor Registrar, Certified (CTR)
